Download orch

One server for the team, then one agent on each member's machine.

  1. Get the server files

    Point a DNS record at the host first: Caddy requests its certificate on the first start.

    $ git clone https://github.com/selfhostr/orch.git
    $ cd orch/deploy/server
    $ cp .env.example .env # fill it in
  2. Create the GitHub App

    Put its identifiers in .env and its private key in secrets/github-app.pem. The steps are in the docs.

  3. Start the server

    This pulls the images and applies the migrations.

    $ docker compose up -d
    $ curl -fsS https://<domain>/healthz
  4. Add each member

    The My Server page gives each member this command with a one-time token, valid 15 minutes.

    $ curl -fsSL https://<domain>/install.sh | ORCH_TOKEN=<one-time-token> sh
    $ orch login
  5. Connect Claude Code, if you want

    Then run /mcp, pick orch and choose Authenticate.

    $ claude mcp add --transport http --scope user orch https://<domain>/mcp
